custom digital watercolor rendering
Digital Photography

Not all digital cameras are created equal... most of the consumer models are rated from 1.2 to 2.11 megapixels and can capture nice clear images that are suitable for digital watercolor rendering. Photos should be taken at the highest resolution the camera can capture (at least 1200 pixel width ideally). Unfortunately photos from lower-end cameras are not usable.

Your digital photos are usually compressed in a JPEG (JPG) format which are ideal for sending as e-mail attachments. Files saved in TIFF or PSD format are also acceptable. Note: e-mail is not always a reliable way to send files that exceed 3 to 5 megs (less for some e-mail providers). Waterpainter.com will always send you confirmation upon receipt of any e-mail so you can be sure your file arrived.
